The following story contains real events that I've personally experienced or seen happen. Each Issue contains a real event that has been altered a bit for privacy reasons and to add depth to the story. Ember is a fifteen year old who recently came out as nonbinary, their family disowned them for it. Right after Ember’s announcement, queen Saranya died, the patriarchy crashed into tyranny and chaos. Her husband Mrithun became the sole leader and made everyone pledge allegiance to him and those who didn’t were named traitors. He moved everyone who pledged their allegiance in to Golool. Which Ember has nicknamed Broury, the broken city. When Ember stumbles upon a boy that’s near death they stops and takes care of him, the boy is about their age maybe a year older than them. But, she might have just sealed her death warrant, they have no idea who they just saved and it might kill her because someone wanted him dead and now they’ve intervened and messed up ,whoever did it, their plan. But most importantly they don’t know the thing that might save them is buried deep inside them.

Quick note: When I refere to Ember I will use they/them. Ember did not try to kill the boy.

The nobles are the only ones allowed to use magic. They have their own magical traditions. They live in luxurious castles, keeping commoners as their unfortunate servants. Most of us commoners eke out a meagre living in our villages. But the forest, the mountains, the hills, they call to us and share with us their magic. And we learn the magic of the wild lands and of the commoners, and we teach each other the magic we know.

Tales of the undead first came around from an interpretation challenge i am currently taking place in where you pick a random image of of pinterest and come up with a a short story based around the picture, this was the first story in the challenge that i created and i loved every second of it.

the story mainly takes place in new york which is where the virus largely impacted and told in the perspective of the narrator who later reveals to have a not so secret secret...............
